Add Any Item To The “Send To” Menu

Whenever you right click on any file you see different menu items, one of the items is Send to, which can easily send a copy of that file to your desktop or your Floppy Drive or your Pen drive.
What if you want to send some files to a folder, and you have to do this task repeatedly? Well, you will copy files and then open the folder and paste it. But what can be a better solution is, that we can add any folder of our choice to the Send To menu.
It really sounds interesting and you might be thinking that you need to change some coding or write some scripts to make changes. But believe me, its as simple as using Cut/Copy/Paste.
Here’s what you need to do.

1. Firstly go to Control Panel –> Folder Options, IN ther go to View tab and select “Show hidden files and folders”.

2. After that Go to your Root Directory (usually Local disk C ) and Documents and settings –> Administrator.

3. In this folder you will find a folder named Send to. This is the folder which contains all the shortcuts. Open this folder.

4. To add your folder, go to files –> New –> Shortcut.

5. A Wizard will open up, Just browse to your folder, Click next, and give a name and click Finish.
